The UKBG / Auchentoshan Switch Competition was held at the Albannach, The Foremost Whisky bar in Londons Trafalgar Square, Thank you.
There were Thirteen Competitors from in an around London, it was a very good event and the standard of the cocktails was very high.
It seems that everyone really done their homework researching ingredients to produce some amazing cocktails.
From the Thirteen entries the top three were selected by the judgies , it was not an easy task as there were some really good cocktails made.
The top three went on to make their own creation of the classic ” Old Fashioned ” , They used smoke guns , infusions , all of which delighted the judges.
Who were , Iain McCullum , Master of Malts for Morrison Bowmore Distillers , Alasdair Dickinson Business Development Exec , Morrison Bowmore Distillers
and Daniel Crebesse National President UKBG.
The top three were Robb Collins from Meat Liquor , Lukasz Stafin from 5 Hertford street, Matteo Corsalini from China Tang ,

The Winner who will represent the UKBG in the Final , where the winner gets to go to New York for a week to work in the Dead Rabbit Bar .all paid trip .

After much discussion amongst the judges the decision was made and announced,

1st was Matteo Corsalini . China tang .
2nd was Robb Collins . Meat Liquor
3rd was Lukasz Stafin. 5 Hertford St

All the Competitors were very good Great Drinks Great Bartenders, all winners but there could only be one on the day. Thanks guys & gals for making it such a great day.

And a very BIG Thank you to all the members from the London & Southwest areas of the UKBG for their help , support and time for the judging , scoring and time keeping all the jobs that get done for the love of the proffession ,
