Bartender’s Hub – February ’21 Edition – Registration Open Now!

15th February – 11.30 am the Bartender’s Hub reconvenes! Our monthly community livestream session, welcomes Kelly’s Cause, the UK’s leading Mental Health First Aid training provider for the hospitality sector. Tobie-Anna, Kelly’s Cause founder will share an introduction to the mentorship program, and show you the path to becoming a Mental Health Hero. No matter which sector you work in, the pandemic has had an impact on our people and their mental health and wellbeing. We need to be able to support each other now and in the future – register now and learn more!

We will then dive into a journey of sustainability in spirits making and the techniques adapted from Avallen Calvados, a spirit that’s delicious, approachable and fun, and whose production has a positive impact on biodiversity.

As always, there will be lots of opportunities to network with the bartending community, and our speakers. Come and share your knowledge, your stories, and any Calvados-based recipes you’d like to share with us!

Cocktails presented at this bartender’s hub from our members

Apples & Peaches – Hadrien Haumont

Ingredients

35 ml Chamomile infused Calvados
35 ml Rinquinquin
10 ml Suze
10 ml 3:1 honey syrup
 
 
Method
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass, add ice, and stir.
Strain in your favorite stemmed glass.
 
 
Garnish: 
Express the orange peel to let fragrant oils loose
 
 
Chamomile infused Calvados
 
Steep 10gr of dried chamomile in 250ml of calvados at room temperature for 24h, strain through a coffee filter.
