It’s been a really, *really* tough year. Maybe even that is an understatement. However, one thing that has been a constant wherever you look is our community coming together to try and provide for each other – from the Drinks Trust Hardship fund, to London’s bar workers giving their skills and time to mutual aid groups across the city and country. We too have been trying to do our little part, which is why near beginning of the Pandemic we started supporting a new industry podcast – Hospitality Offline – in association with Monkey Shoulder.
Hosted by Jake O’Brien Murphy, the podcast brings together bartenders, bar owners, brand ambassadors and industry professionals to gather and discuss what’s been happening and how our colleagues have been coping and adapting to the global crisis. With guests including UKBG’s Declan McGirk, and Ross Carter from Drinks Trust, we’ve a series of great discussions.
Our latest episode is focused on positivity and as we move out of the Covid-19 pandemic the hope for a brighter future. Jake O’Brien Murphy interviews Greig Howitt of GH Drinks and Hawksmoor Restaurants, Rebekkah Dooley of Diffords Guide and Deano Moncrieffe, owner of agave specialist bar, Hacha, and former Diageo brand ambassador.
