Leanne is the Founder of Distinctly Aware, a propeller agency that accelerates the marketing and commercial strategy of drink brands, regardless of whether they are at the NPD stage or more established.
Prior to this, Leanne gained expert knowledge on spirit and drink trends, together with an enviable local and global network having worked with some of the most renowned brands, venues, agencies and prolific drink authorities to deliver exceptional programmes and activations whilst assessing commercials, increasing volume and elevating brand advocacy.
Leanne’s award- winning bartending and management background has seen her work with some of the UK’s most recognised venues from national groups such as Living Ventures, Novus Leisure and All Star Lanes to iconic independent venues such as Lab and Townhouse.
Leanne’s trajectory developed into bartender training, leading sessions with Shaker Bar School, and was soon approached by Bacardi Brown Forman Brands to be part of their hugely influential Training Team – which focussed on innovative category as well as brand trainings for Bacardi, Bombay Sapphire, Grey Goose and Jack Daniels.
Having then led BBFB’s Advocacy programme with a key focus on amplifying training programmes, a variety of brand venue partnerships and activations including the Savoy, the Artesian and London Cocktail Week, Leanne focussed on marketing within the portfolio.
With a move to Mangrove, culminating in a Head of Marketing role, Leanne managed a variety of brands such as Beluga Vodka, Santa Teresa and The King’s Ginger.
In 2017, Leanne was approached by Halewood Artisanal Spirits to propel their white spirits strategy with brands including the City of London Distillery and JJ Whitley with a key focus on Whitley Neill Gin, whereby it became the UK’s number 1 premium gin.
